A voice data screen opens
On Samsung phones the Samsung TTS voice data list opens directly.
Checked on a Galaxy A23 · Android 14K‑Tile reads matched words aloud. The sound comes from your phone’s speech engine (TTS), not from the game. If your phone has no voice data for the language you learn, nothing is spoken and the game’s settings show “no voice”.
On the map, open “?” (How to play) → “No sound for the language you learn” → “Open voice settings”. One tap opens your phone’s voice data screen.

The game checks the voice again the moment you return.
Close K‑Tile completely from the recent-apps list and open it again.
The menu sits in a different place on each brand and version. The surest way is the search in Settings.
On a Galaxy A23 (One UI · Android 14) this item was not under “Settings → General”. Use search.

A voice can be tens of MB, so Wi‑Fi is recommended.
K‑Tile does not pick one — it uses your phone’s default speech engine. If that engine has no voice for the language, switching the preferred engine (for example to Google) may help.
Korean words work the same way — without a Korean voice, Korean is not spoken either. The game works without sound; word cards always show the text and the picture.
