K-Tile — Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your K-Tile Google sign-in account and the data attached to it. Signing in is optional — if you never signed in, there is no account to delete.

Your game progress (stars, coins, collection) is not part of the account. It is stored on your phone only, so deleting the app removes it. Deleting your account does not erase your progress, and erasing your progress does not delete your account — they are separate.

1. In the app (fastest)

Settings → Account → Delete account, then read the notice and tap the button once more. (The button label changes to “Really delete” for the second tap.) It is deleted immediately — there is no grace period and it cannot be undone.

2. Outside the app — verify with Google, then delete

The page that opens carries a short English summary, but its button and status messages are in Korean. The order is: sign in with Google → the delete button becomes enabled → press it and confirm.

3. By email

Email softback.help@gmail.com or dev@softbackgames.com with the subject “K-Tile account deletion”. Sending from the Google address you signed in with is how we verify it is you (if you write from another address, put that Google address in the message). We handle it within 10 days, as our Privacy Policy requires, and reply to you.

We then delete it using the same server function as routes 1 and 2, so what is removed and what is kept is the same — but a person has to run it, which is why this route takes up to 10 days while the other two are immediate.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted immediately	The Google account link (the identifier), your email address, your sign-in sessions, and your account id.
Kept — 1 year	One irreversible hash of the identifier. It only lets us tell whether the same identity signed up again; the original cannot be recovered from it. Deleted automatically after 1 year.
Kept — 90 days	Audit rows for sign-in, sign-in (new), refusal, sign-out, deletion and re-join. Each row holds a timestamp, the action, the provider (`google`), our account id, and a short reason where one applies. ⚠️ These rows contain no email address and no Google identifier — but they do mean a 90-day sign-in history tied to your account id remains.
Not part of the account	Purchase verification records — the Google Play purchase token, product id, type, amount granted and verification time, plus, from Google's reply, the order id, purchase time, purchase state and region code. Kept 5 years as Korean commerce law requires. These are keyed to the purchase, not to you, and are not removed by account deletion. Game progress on your device — remove it with Android Settings → Apps → K-Tile → Storage → Clear data (menu names differ between phones). This is permanent.

⚠️ If you see an error instead of a confirmation, nothing was deleted — please tell us by email so we can do it for you. We would rather say so than let you believe it is done.
